Updating of the algorithm estimation of real evapotranspiration (ETR) for the VIIRS-Suomi NPP sensor

The estimation of the real evapotranspiration (ETR) results in a concrete need for the study, analysis and management of agroecosystems at different spatial and temporal scales. Using spectral information from the Suomi-NPP satellite, we updated the estimation algorithms applying mixed linear models that considered the location and the year as random factors. In this way we give continuity to the ETR products and improve the spatial resolution to ~14 hectares.
