Efecto de la competencia por alimento en larvas de Phaenicia sericata Diptera: Calliphoridae
Abstract
The effects of competition by food atthe larvalstage of Phaenicia sericata (Dipt: Calliphoridae) and its incidence on the adult stage, were determined under laboratory conditions. The results showed scramble competition by food among larval stage. The survival was density-dependent. Size and weight of pupae and emerged adults decreased as larval density increased.
