Fenología de las especies arbóreas de los talares del este de la Provincia de Buenos Aires
Abstract
The phenology of the six we species of the “talares” from the east of Buenos Aires Province is decribed. C. tala and P. dioica showed a deciduous behaviour, while J. rhombifolia, S. buxifolia, S. longofolius and S. australis a perennial one. The greatest activity ¡ti leaf production mis recorded during the spring. Some species also produced leaves during other seasons. Flowering showed a sign f cant coincidence with leaf production in C. tala, P. dioica and S. buxifolia and significatit exclusion in J. rhombifolia. Fruiting times were significantly different from leafing times in C. tala, P. dioica and S. buxifolia, but were, coincident in J. rhombifolia. A significant negative correlation was found between leaf expansion and duration of reproductive organs.
