Abstract

This work compiles a series of reflections, results, ideas and experiences concerning a scientific career in the science and technology system of Argentina, mainly CONICET (National Council for Scientific and Technological Research) and the University. The idea is to make epistemic biases visible, especially from the performativity of language; that is, how the constructed scientific explanations cover up patriarchal issues. In addition, results from numerous interventions in diverse areas regarding gender and biological/environmental sciences will be presented. A reflection is proposed from an experiential record of the evolution of gender issues in the last 30 years in scientific fields in the biological and environmental areas.
